The Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 1961 to promote education and research activities related to malacology. The Shell Club sponsors the judged Sanibel Shell Show held the first full weekend of March inside the Community House as part of the Shell Festival.
