Koreshan State Park

Strolling through the Koreshan Unity Settlement, a nationally registered historic district, offers an opportunity to learn about these idealistic pioneers. Guided tours are available of the landscaped grounds and eleven restored buildings throughout the year. Self-Guided tour booklets are also available.

Winter home of the Minnesota Twins, and their Class A Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. This 80 acre complex includes 8000 seat Hammond Stadium, four additional full size fields, two half fields, 10 covered batting cages, a softball complex, and more.

Home of the Southwest Florida Ag Expo, this indoor/outdoor event complex contains a 65,000-sq. ft. arena suitable for trade shows as well as seating 7,800 for concerts, a 15,000-sq. ft. air-conditioned Whaley Hall and a 17,000-sq. ft. Pavilion with 3 phase electric.

J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge

This 7,600-acre wildlife refuge is home to 51 types of reptiles and amphibians, 32 mammal species, more than 245 species of birds. Paddling, hiking/biking trails, observation towers and a four-mile scenic drive (drive closed Fri.) Indigo Trail opens daily leading to the Wildlife Education Boardwalk's scat and tracks replications. Free hands-on Visitor & Education Center open daily with free seasonal programs and tours. Year-round guided tram, boat and paddling tours (Tarpon Bay Explorers 239-472-8900). Bailey Tract offers more hiking, biking, and wildlife watching
