The River District Alliance is the non-profit entity that represents downtown property owners, merchants and residents as the focused voice to elected official and local decision makers. Our goal is to promote and enhance the continued development of the historic downtown as a hub of economic, social and cultural activity. All year, RDA hosts a series of Friday evening (and annual) events that have become the most popular block party style gatherings in Lee County.

The Railroad Museum of South Florida is located in Lakes Regional Park in south Ft. Myers, FL. The Railroad Museum houses many displays of Southwest Florida's Railroad history in it's new Lakes Park Interpretive Center. Our mission is to educate our visitors about how the railroads helped shape the growth of SW Florida.

This is a 501c3 working artist gallery with a continuously changing display of local original art for show and sale. You may find artists painting during your visit or see a workshop in progress. Membership provides discounts on classes and workshops, a place to create art with no additional fees, library use, only 20% sales commission to gallery, plus tax.
