More than 160 college teams use the park each March to kick off their baseball seasons. Terry Park is on the National Register of Historic Places, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Roberto Clemente have played at Terry Park. Various tournaments during the year.

Our live performing arts center produces professional theater and musicals, and presents cabaret specialty acts of popular Jazz. We are newly located in the Heart of the McGregor Corridor, in the The Design Center next to Spada, First Watch, Golden Rind, Norman Love & Melting Pot. Alva Library and Museum

Museum open to visitors Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm, October to May. 

Explore the history of the unique village of Alva on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River, only 15 minutes from Exit 141 of Interstate 75. Learn about the early Alva settlers, including Alva’s founder, Captain Peter Nelson, who purchased the homestead, which he named Alva in 1883, and who later donated the land upon which the Alva Library and Museum sits.
