The Collier Inn on Useppa Island

The Collier Inn on Southwest Florida's Useppa Island was recently featured in a CoastalLiving.com article called "Top 10 Romantic Island Inns." The article, which includes destinations from Mexico to Maine, spotlights the historic inn's unique charm.

Tucked away on an 80-acre island accessible only by boat or seaplane, the Collier Inn preserves the feeling of a winter playground of the early 20th century, when northern tycoons (including its namesake Barron Collier) retreated to Useppa Island for warm weather and relaxation. Useppa Island is located just northwest of Fort Myers in scenic Pine Island Sound, not far from the tarpon fishing mecca of Boca Grande.
